[Han Palace Pepper Room]

The term "pepper room enci" (Pepper Room Gift) doesn't originate from the TV series "The Legend of Zhen Huan." It originally referred to the Pepper Room palace built by Emperor Gaozu of Han, Liu Bang, for Empress Lü. Pepper rooms later became exclusive residences for concubines in ancient China, with walls decorated with a mixture of Sichuan peppercorns and mud. Those suffering from internal cold, uterine cold, or liver and kidney deficiency have difficulty conceiving.
